AI Makerspace Meetup

This AI Makerspace workshop series provides an opportunity to get some hands-on, hacky-hour like experience with some of the most sought-after generative AI/Gen-AI skills. 

Specifically, this AI makerspace workshop will take the in-depth subjects taught in U of A DataLab workshops and add  horizontal breadth to them. For example, participants will collaborate virtually with a DataLab AI researcher to discuss and code some of the main skills and tools required for developing and deploying a Gen-AI applications like: how to fine-tune your own open-source LLM on various high-performance computing (HPC) architectures, combining your PyTorch training code with MLOps libraries, building a Gradio app,  publishing it on the Hugging Face Hub, etc.
