Rongbo Jin is a PhD candidate in the School of Government and Public Policy at the University of Arizona. His recent works applied Natural Language Processing algorithms to analyzing open-ended survey responses and social media data to investigate the nature of partisan animosity in American context. He got the Graduate Certificate in Computational Social Science in 2022. His past works used linear regressions, multilevel models, machine learning, survey and lab experiment etc. He is interested in applying computational methods to understand political behavior and public opinion.
