The UArizona Data Science Institute is hosting a free screening and panel discussion for the documentary, Coded Bias (2020), directed by Shalini Kantayya. Coded Bias shines the light on the biases within AI. Facial recognition tech did not work until Joy Buolamwini put on a white mask.
Please REGISTER to join us on February 28, 2023, 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM at the Main Library CATalyst Data Studio B201. Seating is limited. Free snacks will be provided. Open to UArizona students, faculty, and staff.
