Introduction to Scientific Digital Images is a free workshop open to the University of Arizona research community. The workshop provides foundational training on how images function as data, what affects their quality, and common pitfalls in image handling. Topics include pixels, resolution, color space, image formats, image acquisition, and image processing. The workshop also covers ethical considerations in the presentation and use of digital images and counts toward the NIH Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Certificate.

Seating for this workshop is limited by the room size in HSIB, you MUST register to attend. We are using the university's Trellis software to register and communicate with registrants.
