Understanding and Protecting your Intellectual Property in the Year of Open science
When
In celebration of Love Your Data Week, Ellen Dubinsky with the UA Libraries, will present Understanding and Protecting your Intellectual Property in the Year of Open science on February 14 at 2-3 PM. The online webinar will provide the basics about copyright and what is (and isn’t) protected. Most importantly, you’ll learn how to manage your copyright and other intellectual property rights while engaging in open science practices. The White House is partnering with several federal agencies and research universities in the Year of Open Science -- initiatives that provide access to the results of the nation’s taxpayer-supported research, accelerate discovery and innovation, promote public trust, and drive more equitable outcomes. As a research and author, you might ask how that will affect the intellectual property rights in your research outputs. Register for this presentation to learn more.
Zoom link will be provided in the registration confirmation email.
