Ecology and Evolutionary Biology
UH

Ulises Hernández is a PhD candidate in the department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Arizona. My research interest is on studying how high whole genome deleterious mutation rates (Ud) affect the evolutionary process. My work focuses on extending current population genetic theory to be compatible with evolution at high Ud and using bioinformatic approaches to infer the effect of high Ud on whole genome data.
