Exploratory Data Analysis in R: diagnose data like a data doctor

Exploratory data analysis can uncover issues that can invalidate results and question the reproducibility of a study. In this workshop attendees will diagnose and uncover issues in columns from a data frame using the dlookr package in the R programming language and RStudio.

Objectives:

1. load and view a novel data set into RStudio.

2. Diagnose outliers and missing values in a data set.

3. Produce a publishable HTML diagnostic summary of a data set.

Prerequisites:

Familiarity with the R programming language in RStudio is helpful but not necessary. Please come with a current version of R and RStudio installed or an RStudio Cloud account.
